As a journalist, Miller was a reporter and city editor of the Greensboro Daily News (N.C.), then Southwest bureau chief for Business Week magazine, and then at age 29, he served as associate managing editor of the magazine in New York City.   Miller wrote hundreds of magazine articles and was a syndicated columnist for Newsday Syndicate in New York.   He is also a book author, and the creator and current editor of the Barron’s Guide to Graduate Business Schools now in its 15 th edition.   Miller also served as business editor of the NBC-TV “Today” show when Dave Garroway was the host.   He was a founder of the Society “American Business Editors and Writers,” which currently has a membership of over 3,500.
